How do I get the alert when someone registers to my website?
You leave a browser open on our site and it will play the alert sound for you whenever someone registers to your website.
How does it work?
You get a line of html to paste to the page you want to monitor. If the page is accessed by a user our server will get notified.
When you open your browser on our page, the browser will play a sound to you whenever the monitored page was accessed.
Any privacy and security implications?
Take into account that a sophisticated user can see the same information you see (the alerts).
In most cases the system is used to notify you on new registered users and your site may have the number of registered users published so it makes no difference to your privacy. If you think it is a problem for you to allow this kind of information to leak, don't use our service please.
Does it require technical knowledge to install?
No, it is simply a matter of pasting a html line to the html file of one of your pages. Usually the "Thank you" page which shows after the user finishes registration.
