There are a lot of places on the human body to demonstrate the size of an object, and they are equally as inappropriate as the ear. The finger tip pick was plenty.

I have several disks on key and always look for them around. These things tend to get lost. If I had one of these it could sit in my wallet and be safe and secure. That solves the single most annoying problem of flash disks.

tell me, why would you want a 256 memory card the size of your fingernail, when you can have a gig for maybe an inch bigger. Is it so you can put it in your ear? I have this, and I put it on my keychain with a paperclip. The only drawback is that the contacts are exposed. I think it will take long enough for them to wear out for me not to really worry, though.

PDQ had a USB flash drive out like this years ago. It might have been about 2mm bigger, but thats close enough to make this a non event. I lost mine due to its size.

    This is all well and good but i'd be afraid to break it by aplying the least bit of strength to hold it up. Or if you're carying it on you're cellphone(like the photo shows) it would be crushed either from: The cellphone itself or the jostling around in you're pocket.

    So, yes it's good but maybe it should come with a 1 inch steel case.

This is nothing new, just a shorter version of the "intelligent stick" competing product PQI had been selling for years.

The PQI product can be directly plugged into the USB port, like the iDisk Diamond, and also can be plugged into the larger adapter that you can in turn plug into the USB port. This adapter has the same form factor as those USB dongles you are already used to only that you can plug the Intelligent Sticks into them.
