Ok, so if its dramatic tempurature changes you're lookin for, there was this thing a few years back call the ice age. There is also the fact that the vast majority of the earth was of a tropical climate, well before the ice age ( that includes :what is now Canada and most of Greenland). Now, as for your feeble attempt to blame industry for all our global misfortune, it's all to easy to blame the first thing that's spewing smoke from a chimeny. But I'm sure if you think really hard, you can think of another object that used to blow smoke all over the place ( I'll give you a hint it rhymes with schmolcano). And believe me they were everywhere. So in summary, I'd say first of all, you need to stop getting your scientific info from pot smokin hippies, and then you can join all the other idiots on the other side of the world.
