by the way, i built one of these from plywood, fibreglass and an old surfboard with rigid wakeboard bindings. Its damn hard even on flat water. My advice, buy a ready made/researched/perfected one and give it a go, its fun (mine worked flukily well, but of course snapped pretty quick)
